Family law and divorce cases are processed at the Family Justice Center, which is part of the 4th Judicial District and serves only Hennepin County. This services the major cities of Minneapolis and Bloomington, as well as Richfield, St. Louis Park, and outlying places such as Wayzata and Minnetonka. Following a court order for child support, child support issues are handled by the county’s Human Services and Public Health Child Support Services, located at 110 South Fourth Street, MC L890, Minneapolis, MN 55401. Family Justice Center
The 4th District Family Court is located in the Family Justice Center (FJC) in downtown Minneapolis, where cases such as divorce, child custody, child support, domestic abuse, and paternity are handled. This is located at 110 South 4th Street, Minneapolis, MN, and not in the building where other county courtrooms are.
