Professional Experience

Ms. Olson has been with Clausen & Hassan since October, 2016.  Prior to joining Clausen & Hassan, Ms. Olson worked in the legal field in the areas of Family Law, Housing, and Public Benefits.  Ms. Olson prides herself on calm and open-minded communication with clients, her attention to detail, and her ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment for clients to achieve their present and future family law goals.

Ms. Olson works as a Paralegal for Brian J. Clausen in all areas of family law, including: divorce; child support; child custody and parenting time; spousal maintenance; post-decree motions; paternity; and domestic abuse and harassment.  While the clients of Clausen & Hassan experience open, honest and frequent communication with their attorney, Ms. Olson offers an additional resource of information as well.

Ms. Olson regularly communicates with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other family law colleagues.  Ms. Olson often assists with scheduling meetings, court dates, and mediation; gathering information; drafting memorandums; preparing pleadings and other important correspondence; as well as keeping client files organized.  Ms. Olson is also a Minnesota State Licensed Notary Public.
