Professional Experience

Ms. Knutson has been with Clausen & Hassan since March, 2016. Prior to joining Clausen & Hassan, Ms. Knutson’s experience in the legal field included working with the Second Judicial District in the Criminal/Traffic Division. Ms. Knutson prides herself on open communication with clients, her attention to detail, and her ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment for clients to achieve their present and future family law goals.

Ms. Knutson works as a Paralegal for Clausen & Hassan in all areas of family law, including: divorce; complex asset and debt division; child support; child custody and parenting time; spousal maintenance; post-decree motions; paternity; domestic abuse and harassment; and, Antenuptial and Postnuptial agreements.  While the clients of Clausen & Hassan experience open, honest and frequent communication with their attorney, Ms. Knutson offers an additional resource of information as well.

Ms. Knutson regularly communicates with clients, opposing counsels, court staff, and other family law colleagues. Ms. Knutson often assists with scheduling meetings, court dates, and mediation; gathering information; drafting memorandums; preparing pleadings and other important correspondence. Ms. Knutson is also a Minnesota State Licensed Notary Public.
